Following an unexpected meeting between Andrew Mackie and Sue O’Donnell in late October 2016, we are pleased to advise that MR Financial Services are to open an additional office in Leeds in March.
Sue will be based there, with her technical and administrative support being provided in Fulwood. We have recently secured a “small but perfectly formed” office in a prestigious part of town that Sue tells us will impress potential clients and professional connections, alike.
Sue has worked with independent financial advisers for over 25 years, directly providing advice for the last 12. In addition to the required qualifications, Sue is also an accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advice (SOLLA), which confirms a certain empathy with clients approaching later years, sometimes with compromised mental capacity. Given that the bulk of Sue’s clients are either retired or retiring, this additional skill is appreciated and, still quite rare in our industry.
Sue is married, with two young adult children and lives in Leeds with Hugh although, coming from the North East, will probably always call Northumberland her home. As a graduate in Geography, her love of the landscape is clear with her holidays being closely linked to various mountain ranges, the Lake District being her favourite even after the recent trip of a lifetime to New Zealand.
We welcome Sue and are sure she will be an asset to MR Financial Services in the years to come.
