Audit and Accounts Senior
A superb opportunity has arisen for an Audit and Accounts Senior professional to join our accountancy practice based in Fulwood, Preston.
We will consider ACA or ACCA studiers, newly qualified ACA or ACCA or qualified by experience applicants.
Our typical client base is small and medium-sized enterprises in the North West, with particular focus in and around Preston and the surrounding areas. We cater for all types of business but have significant experience in farming and agriculture and construction. Our client bank includes sole traders, partnerships, LLP’s, Limited Company’s and Charities.
The ideal candidate would have:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an accountancy practice
- Knowledge of statutory accounts preparation, audit and corporation tax for Limited Companies
- Experience dealing with personal tax
Knowledge of IRIS would be helpful but is not mandatory.
The Directors will ensure you learn and progress in your career beyond being a senior accountant, with continuing professional development and a range of experience. You will be given significant responsibility and will have close liaison with the client base.
We are looking for an accountant from a practice who can demonstrate a strong understanding of current technical issues and can take significant responsibility in their next role and progress swiftly upwards in the firm.

Our typical client base is small and medium-sized enterprises in the North West, with particular focus in and around Preston and the surrounding areas. We cater for all types of business but have significant experience in farming and agriculture and construction. Our client bank includes sole traders, partnerships, LLP’s, Limited Company’s and Charities.
The ideal candidate would have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Fully competent in terms of accounts production, corporation tax, personal tax, VAT and other matters relating to accountants in practice.
- Experience on a number of software and cloud based packages
- Experience with training/mentoring more junior staff members
Knowledge of IRIS would be helpful but is not mandatory.
