We don't just count business numbers at McDade Roberts Accountants in Preston and Longridge. One of our talented accountants, Chris Carter, also has a talent for adding up the wickets so it is with pride that McDade Roberts are sponsoring him at his cricket club, Westgate Cricket Club. 

Westgate Cricket Club play in the Palace Shield Division 1A. The majority of the teams are Preston based in this league including: BAC/EE Preston Cricket Club, Croston Cricket Club, Fylde Cricket Club, Garstang Cricket Club, Leyland Cricket Club, Longridge Cricket Club, Kirkham & Wesham Cricket Club and Standish Cricket Club.

Westgate Cricket Club was founded in 1936 and is situated at Cross Hill Park, Powderhouse Lane, Lancaster. The club is a member of the Palace Shield Competition and the Westmorland Cricket League. The 1st XI play in the Palace Shield Competition while the 2nd XI and 3rd XI play in the Westmorland Cricket League. There are six junior sides, at U -9, U - 11SB, U-11HB, U - 13, U - 16 and U - 19 levels, playing in the Westmorland League Junior Southern Section.
